Shocking Video
Political Sign Theft Season

I know kids will be kids but this is what happens when a kid's curiosity and a neighbor's angst over previously stolen political signs cross paths.

WRAL Reported the story at this link. which is not embeddable but on YouTube already....(the video is cleaner on WRAL's site)

So you have a Kid who intends to vandalize a political sign, trespass on private property; get shocked by an animal fence.

The Sheriff says he does not plan to charge anybody. Who both the kid and homeowner are guilty of something.

The kid was trespassing; both he and his father should be charged. It's pretty bad when you can't even protect your own property.

"He only wanted to see how the sign was made?" Yeah, right, give me a break. He was trespassing and had no business going into someone else's yard uninvited, much less touching anything. I'm glad the owner came up with his idea to catch the criminal in the act. The father should be teaching his son to apologize and accept responsibility for his actions rather than how to get out of it.

Yeah, he should have been shot for messing around with others peoples property.Little b@$tard!

Back in my youth, this was called "teaching the kid a lesson" and the adults of the day would have agreed in unison.

These days, a homeowner can get sued if the neighbor so much as slips in his driveway. To set up a trap...this homeowner is lucky if he isn't going to get sued right out of his home.

Good grief - lawsuits?

The little vandal got what he deserved. Kudos to justice. Now if his parents can figure out the difference between right and wrong the kid might have a chance growing up. But if his parents defend his vandalism they ensure the continuing destruction of his moral fiber. But we have to assume they put him up to it at this point. Shame on them too!

Off camera: the parent's car from which the kid emerged.

@anonymous (however many you are):

shoot the kid?

shoot his parents?

up the amps?

you people are monsters.

what do you plan to do when your man loses on tuesday? wear white hoods and carry a burning cross?

Hmmmm, I know prosecute the hell out of the parents for allowing their child to participate in this act of stupidity. Typical democrat. Let someone else do the work and then complain and sue when it doesn't go they way they want it to.

every democrat I know works pretty damned hard. almost every republican I know inherited their money, their house, or their position. (personally, I work very hard and I'm an independent.)

what did someone once say about George H. W. Bush? "he was born on third base but he thinks he hit a triple"?

his son, W, in the white house... because he worked hard? I don't think so.

john mccain, 794th out of 799 students at the naval academy, accepted and promoted because both his father and grandfather were high ranking navy officers. he could barely fly a plane.

cindy mccain, worth $100 million because she was born into a beer fortune. did she work for that money?

I could go on. but if you want to look at someone who worked hard for everything he's ever had, look at barack obama.

you like hard work? you'll vote for barack.

you like privilege and inherited ease? you know who to vote for.

not saying the kid was doing the right thing. but electric shocks, prison, and shooting? for a 9 year old pulling a prank. what is this, gitmo?
