One of the more popular franchise series at my station is 'Made in North Carolina' Like the name implies the series highlights companies in North Carolina that make thing.
Simple enough. Of course, for the better part of a year now we've been doing this segment weekly.
I wonder how long we can keep this up...within a day's round trip too....maybe we should call it...made in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point TV market. Hmmm.
I digress.
In the litle town of Rockwell in Rowan County they've been making caskets since just a few years after the railroad laid the last tie in 1890.
So, after a year of 'Made in North Carolina's'...here's my first...shot sans reporter...written...again...sans reporter...voiced...by Chad Tucker...an eloquent baritone.
